Keeping children safe on the internet

The use of technology and the Internet is playing an increasingly prominent role in modern life. Children regularly have access to ICT and the Internet in school in order to support learning. There are a wide variety of fantastic learning resources which we often use in school including Espresso, IXL and Spellodrome.

Children also increasing use the internet away from school as well often for playing games and finding information. It is crucially important that children know how to stay safe online and be able to use the internet in a safe and enjoyable way.

We regularly work with the children to support them with this through assemblies and in lesson times as part of the curriculum. We are also supported by our local Police Community Support Officer.

If you do have any concerns regarding this please do come and speak to us.
