How is my child assessed at school and how will I know how much progress she/he is making?

Children’s learning and progress is constantly monitored throughout their time in school. This is achieved through regular feedback and marking of children’s work alongside peer and self assessment of learning. Progress is formally shared with parents at review meetings which take place in October and February, and also in full written reports which are sent home in the summer term. Alongside this regular assessment which takes place throughout children’s time in school there are also statutory assessments as listed below. The results of these are shared with parents.
